Gettop Acoustic (共达电声), a listed micro electro-acoustic component supplier, acknowledged that the chips shortage had led to prolonged chip procurement cycles and tight supply, impacting the company’s business to a certain degree and it is actively adjusting its supply chain management, the company told a virtual 2021 performance briefing on April 15.

Founded in 2001, Gettop Acoustic was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2012. It operates in Weifang, east China’s Shandong Province, according to its website.

Gettop Acoustic said that it had 15 years of cooperation with in-vehicle device manufacturers including major auto brands from Europe, the U.S., and Japan as well as major domestic auto brands. The company’s main products are currently used in PCBA, microphones, and speakers.

The company said it currently had sufficient orders and remain in regular production and operation. It will continue R&D and expand production capacity and hire new talents for its continuous growth.

The company also revealed in the briefing that newly joined controlling shareholders are committed to integrating all company resources and optimizing its development strategy.(校对|WM Zhang)
